What type of personal data does FSFH collect

We may collect your contact data including your name, surname, institution and e-mail address. We do not collect location and online data such as your location, IP address, usage data and browser data. We do not process any other data or ‘sensitive data’.

Why do we process your data

In case you opt to contact FSF-H using our online contact form, we collect your data in order to respond to your requests and inquires.

Which are the legal bases of processing

Legitimate business interest: The legal basis of processing your personal data may be a legitimate business interest, provided that such interest is not overridden by your interests and rights upon your data. Legitimate interests include response to your requests and inquires and offering information on our services and career opportunities.

Legal obligation: We may process your data to comply with a legal obligation, such as providing information to a public authority. We may disclose your data, when such a disclosure is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, whether in court proceedings or not or in out-of-court procedures.

How does FSFH protect your data

We have established a Data Protection Management System consisting of policies, security and organisational safeguards to protect your data. FSF-H personnel who perform data processing activities are adequately trained to GDPR requirements.

How does FSFH share your data

IT service: IT service providers may have access to your data to perform e-mail hosting, but they are not allowed (subject to written agreements) to share or otherwise use such information.

Public authorities: FSF-H may be requested to disclose your data to public authorities in connection with applicable laws, judicial proceedings, court orders or otherwise specified legal procedures. FSF-H will disclose your data, when the disclosure of such data may contribute to a legal investigation or prevention of illegal activity, suspected fraud activity and violation of the law.  

Which are your rights upon your data

You have the right to obtain a confirmation on how your data are being processed. You have also the right to access and obtain a copy of your data, to object to processing, to ask for rectification, restriction of processing, or erasure.
